sportsella - since 2005

In October 2005, Marc Ritter created sportsella as a by-product of Creative Channel München. Marc has over 10 years of internet experience and 15 years in media sales and business development with companies such as Microsoft MSN, Yahoo!, Süddeutscher Verlag and Condé Nast . As a former marathon runner, Marc loves sports and has his roots in Garmisch. He is enthusiastic about the possibilities technology offers and how it has been successfully used by the IT-branch .

Since October 2006

Gerd Bittl became a partner of Marc Ritter and together they are: sportsella Ritter & Bittl OHG with a new office in Tutzing, Starnberger See, Germany. Gerd Bittl grew up in the sports industry and has more than 25 years of experience within it - 12 years running the family sports business (6 years as managing director). Following this he started to build a big sport-portal on the internet, offering sales advice and training in the sport industry,predominantly  in sales commerce (administration/IT/organization). His roots: Munich. His sports: snowboard, biking, trekking, wakeboarding and surfing.

In 2007, Gerd Bittl-Fröhlich becomes the sole owner of

In its new version (2012), sportsella is based on the ideas of Gerd Bittl-Fröhlich, implemented in cooperation with Team Rest, Gasteiger and mfg | connection. We’re happy to be working with these experienced developpers. They are patient, creative and excellent service providers.
